Template documentation

Use {{open access}} to indicate manually that a research-based publication is available under open access (not merely that it's accessible without subscription etc.). For citations input with citation templates such as {{cite journal}}, use the relevant parameters (such as <syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline style="display: none;" />|doi-access=free) to indicate the access level for a given identifier.

Usage

After a <ref> tag and a citation input as free text, add:

• a space
• then {{open access}}
• then a closing </ref> tag.

Example

Markup	With the help of a <references> tag, this renders as
<ref>Testa A, Giannuzzi R, Sollazzo F, Petrongolo L, Bernardini L, Daini S (February 2013). [http://www.europeanreview.org/article/3083 "Psychiatric emergencies (part I): psychiatric disorders causing organic symptoms"]. ''European Review for Medical and Pharmacological Sciences''. 17 Suppl 1: 55–64. {{open access}} </ref> == References == <references />	References
