Usage
The {{WikiProject Bangladesh}} project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. The full syntax is as follows:

- class – This WikiProject follows Project-Independent Quality Assessment. Please add valid <syntaxhighlight lang="wikitext" inline style="display: none;" />
|class=values to {{WikiProject banner shell}} instead of this WikiProject. Valid class values can be found at Wikipedia:Content assessment. - importance – a rating of the article's importance; see the assessment department for more details.
- Portal parameters
- Collaboration parameters
- attention – "yes" if the article requires immediate attention; this should be used sparingly.
- peer-review – "yes" if the article is currently listed on the project's peer review department.
- Living people: Bangladeshi people who are still alive.
- Deceased people: People from Bangladesh, former East Pakistan or the Bengal region of British India who are now deceased.
- Historical events: Any past event which is now over and new image cannot be created for the subject. Also includes destroed buildings / structures.
- Current events: Event / activity currently going on. Also includes periodic/occasional events / festivals which still occur in Bangladesh.
- Existing Landmarks: Buildings / structures currently in existence. Includes natural landmarks like hills, lakes, rivers etc.
- Locality: Geographic / administrative subdivisions and neighbourhoods.
- Maps: May be historical or current map.
- Flora and Funa: Endengered species or common flora and funa of Bangladesh.
- Symbols: Logo / trademark / monogram etc.
- Media: Book cover, CD/DVD cover, magazine cover, poster, screenshot etc.
- Everyday objects: Includes food items, dress, tools, instruments etc.
- Project parameters
- history - "yes" if it falls into the work area of the History workgroup of WikiProject Bangladesh
- geography - "yes" if it falls into the work area of the Geography workgroup of WikiProject Bangladesh

To avoid needlessly cluttering up talk pages, it is usually appropriate to remove any unused parameters from the template.
